There's never a dull moment around the Wind Dragons MC and this book packs a lot of action into just a few pages. Told from Faye and Sin's POV for the most part and as usual Faye has a way of finding trouble without even trying. Sin's brother shows up and causes all kinds of trouble. Talon and Ranger patch into the Wind Dragons and the traitor from Talon's old MC is found. This is a great catch up with all the characters we've grown to love in the past books. It's a fun quick read and one I definitely recommend.
I really like this series and I really like Faye and Sin. I liked them a lot in the first book in the series, but this is a couple that just grows on you, especially Faye who is hilarious. They have this deep, sinking into your bones kind of love. Faye is kinda cooky but she's also strong, independent and smart. I love her relationship with the other men in the club. This series is one of the few MC romance book that focuses on club life from the perspective of the Prez old lady. This book also lets you catch up with all the couples from previous were and does a good job setting up the next book which features the mysterious Ranger.
If you are a huge fan of the Wind Dragon's MC Series by Chantal Fernando, like I am, then this book is a MUST READ! More Faye and Sin?! Yes Please!
I have loved these two characters from the very beginning, and was so happy to see we would get more of them and Chantal Fernando did not disappoint with how beautifully written this novella was. We got all the drama, and craziness we're used to in the Wind Dragons, but also got to see how far Faye and Sin have come since we first met them back in book one.
Faye is so strong, even when put into some bad circumstances like she is in this book, she holds her own, and makes me wish I could be a badass like her. She doesn't take any crap and she's loyal to her family/club. She doesn't need the guys to fight her battles for her, and is more than willing to do something she knows someone in the club would possibly regret further down the road. She's feisty, strong, hilarious, and also a very compassionate character and I adore her and this book reminded me why she was my favorite of the old ladies!
If you're a lover of this series, you have to read Last Ride ASAP. So much happens and it's a great setup for what's to come next. I left this book happy and yet a little sad, but I know everything will be right in the Wind Dragons as long as this group of awesome characters sticks together! I can't wait for the next full length to come out, I need my WDMC fix ASAP!
I become giddy when I get to read a new Chantal Fernando's MC book. She has taken us on an exceptional MC ride making her characters special to me.
In the Last Ride, she takes us one more time back to the characters we love Faith and Dex "Sin" Black.
As a heroine, Faith is truly an amazing one. She's funny, romantic, obsessed with cleaning, but she also knows how to throw a knife, disarm a man, and shoot a gun like any of the guys. The guys love and respect her. She has become like a sister to them. I would even say that they pamper her. Additionally, Faith would do anything for the club and she has grown into a great old lady, leading by example.
Sin, the President of the Wind Dragons, loves his woman very much. She's not only the mother of his children but his lover and her support is something he needs. When she's kidnapped, let's just say he's not sure how to live without her. Rescuing her and bringing her back to the MC home is the only thought in his head. He will stop at nothing until his woman is back in his arms.
Splendid novella! Faith and Sin have great chemistry. They get along better than ever. The best part was to be able to see the rest of the crew through Faith's eyes. She has developed such a close relationship with the "old ladies" and she wants her MC family to be safe and happy. It's was funny to see the guys asking her for advice. I kept smiling throughout the story.
I think there are only two more single guys. Not sure what I'm going to do when The Wind Dragon series ends (

I have loved this series from the beginning but this was unnecessary. Sin has been a strong and capable dude this whole series and you want us to believe he just fell apart like that?? And I know that Faye is loved but it was just over the top!! She was too conceited and trying to hard to be funny. And what happened to how strong all of the other women were in the previous books?? Don't make them weak to make Faye seem stronger. Their "enemies" were like bumbling idiots. I'm just going to pretend like I didn't read this.
